Seems there is a template for the trading cards most are using. Will rework.

Maybe we could add a ribbon with the scull and cross-bones in it?

I agree... love the first one and like the ribbon idea. I'm not going to have a chance to work on a layout anytime soon so you guys have at it!!! |

Addind the ribbons is starting to make it a bit busy, IMHO. I added an empty treasure chest and that's pushin' it. Let me know which on you guys like. The file can be copied as I've not flattened the layers just for your ease of use. :) |

Hey Kat,
The cards look great, Sorry I hadnt said it earlier. Was trying to get ready for another fun filled sesmester of college that started last night. I thought you said you were not good in elements though....
We should probably think about also choosing our team logo. Or do you think we should each choose the one we like. My 2 cents is a single logo shows unity, while the multiple shows individualism.
On a side note, we show our team is complete on the WPL website with the addition of Kat, and should be all set to roll once we start up the season and the new challenges. I hope you will all do your best to attempt to enter as many quality (what you think is quality) images during the challenges.
Mitch, could you please email me a invite to votobooth? Thank you. For those who do not know votobooth, is like a dpchallenge tha awards a cash prize to the winner of the challneges. I do not know the amount or how it works but....
Arr Ye Ship mates, right now relax and enjoy the smooth sailing, because I see on the horizon a hurricane a brewing and its name it WPL4.
Enjoy,
Rich

Hey,
I think one logo is a good idea, after all, us pirates all sail under the same flag!
As for WPL4, can we maybe get a rundown of what exactly is expected of us? Do we enter images here on DPC on the WPL site? Sorry, am being a bit dense about it.
Thanks everyone for all the hard work so far.
Don't know if I mentioned on this thread before, but this Pirate is looking to turn full time photographer later this year. Still need a lot of practice and experience, but have signed up for some photography courses and working on the details for a web site, with more courses to follow and hopefully I can find a wedding photographer to tag along with for a while. Oh, and need to learn photoshop, not winning with the manual that comes with it...
I've done my first wedding and fortunately they loved the photos.
Have fun ye Pirates!
Jan.

Hey Jan and everyone else wondering,
Here is a link to a the wpl website, there is gives a basic overview of how this works and what is expected of the photographers that participate.Wpl Info. You can find a like on the left that says WPL Basics.
If you have any questions on these either post them here and I will check with Scott, or you may email him yourself off this website as well.

the card looks good. I was thinking that a red and black or white and black theme would be nice and piratey. In terms of the logo, let's just use Palmetto_Pixels logo, but we need to have a compact version for signatures.
