I wasnt sure where else to put this...
Basically, my webhost that I use for my personal site is horrid. Half the time, my email doesnt work.
I'm looking for reliable web hosting for my new business site, and was looking for some recs. of hosts to use.

Check out 1and1.
I have a friend that uses it for a web hosting business he runs. I am going to 1and1 when the time comes for me to get a photo site going.

//www.godaddy.com kicks butt. I ran 10 sites from a VDS there for two years without a glitch.

I am running Joomla on Godaddy and I am not satisfied with the speed.
I would go for pair.com
Really nice stuff. |

I recently had to move a site because of poor hosting and chose to go with Lunarpages. There is some cheaper hosting available, but for the extra $2 you get more reliability and better support. So far I am very pleased and the users of my site have not had to deal with any downtime.

Flarehosting.com may not necassarily be the cheapest but in almost three years with them I've never had an outage. Their support is top notch (with a 1-800... for all of N.A.) and they have all the features you'd need.

Just had a quick question for those of you that use Lunarpages... do you need to use html formatting? I have a couple sites thru Tripod but I'm not satisfied with their service anymore. With their sites all editing is done online & is very self explanitory (ex: there's buttons along the bottom to add txt, pics, links/etc...)
Just wondering before I go transferring sites...

Try SiteGround.
A LOT of space compared to most.
