Has anyone on here ever had any experiences on index stock? Any Sales?
It says on their website that it is a material exclusive contract, does this mean that you can only have images on this stock agency? |

Years ago, I was with Index. I was their 18th photographer and knew its founder. That was back in the pre-digital mid '80s. Yes, it was exclusive.
Then, the agency was sold. And I got the boot from a snotty new editor who didn't feel I was contibuting enough, despite the fact that I just sent in a hundred photos and was preparing another submission of a couple hundred. So we parted company.
To my surprise, I recently discovered they still had some of my photos on their website, yet I haven't received the commissions.
Note: Index has just been purchased by Photo Library.
