alcohol and dpchallenge go very well together, especially commenting on pictures.

posting to the forums while under the influence is nothing.
It's much worse to come up with a last minute idea for a challenge while under the influence and actually enter it.

It's been soooo long since I've had a bad hangover I'm almost starting to miss them. It's impossible to have a hangover when you have a baby waking up at 7am.

Although, back in my 20s (ahhhh... when I was a lad) I was in the habit of going on drinking sessions mid-week. Straight out of work into the pub, and then into some nightclub drinking vinegar... errr... wine until 4am. And then up for work at 9am.

What fun. Arriving into work at 10am stinking of alcohol. All I was fit for at that stage was finding a stationery cupboard to lock myself into so I could sleep until lunchtime.

I quit drinking about 30 yrs ago, near the end of my barroom band days. It was a Teq sunrise night until we ran out of OJ, then switched to grape juice and made Teq sunsets.
They said that I climbed into the empty fire place telling them I was waiting for Santa, but it was in Oct. I figured it couldn't be good for me long term so I quit. I don't miss it at all.
I've heard that it kills brain cells, but I say "Only the weak ones."
