Crazy, I just saw this same listing on craigslist in the Detroit area this morning. Gotta give credit for the recruiting side of it all. |

Pro level DSLR wanted, with loads of experience, but this piddly pay? Does one also get to profit off of the proceeds of the prints?
I would recommend alfresco but that's too far for him to drive for not enough money.

If I had that much equipment and experience, I would think about it for $150 an hour maybe ;-) |

$15 an hour and use your own camera gear and a laptop too? I suppose I could offer a similar deal - bring your gear and shoot a wedding, $25/ hour! (i'm generous I suppose LOL)
$15 if you use their gear is reasonable - maybe.
I'd bet this is freelance work, so you're responsible for your own taxes, and what about any kind of insurance? Do you need it or not?
You have to pay for your own cell minutes apparently, but do you have to pay for parking too?
I suppose if you want to be a 'pro' badly enough this would qualify, and the experience is probably worth something. |
