| I was hoping to at least meet my avg score for this one but it wasn't meant to be. Would've scored better I think if it was a Basic editing challenge. Because the effect might look like it was edited to appear so. Dropping like a rock now, from 6.53 with 57votes to 6.12 with 99. |

I was really upset with my score on this challenge. I was happy with the composition and colors and concept of the photo. Once voting began, I got more and more upset. How could I be so wrong about a photo?
THEN, I decided to check my photo on my computer at work yesterday afternoon (new monitor with good resolution as compared to my crappy CRT at home.).
OUCH - What a crappy photo - pixelated, wierd looking focus. I am lucky to be pulling a 5.3. Thanks to those who clued me in on the issues.
Time to go buy a new monitor!! |

| Just love it. So centered is the name of the game. Can centered by verticle or horizontal or does it have to be both. Hummmm some think that if it isn't exacly centered in all directions then it DNMC. Damn, I guess I should have used the center of the dart board ;) |

Yes, I'm hoping that voters question whether or not the picture shouts "Centred" when voting...as opposed to just being a great picture. This one has the feel of a Free Study about it because the centred element is so diverse. I've had to keep reminding myself of this while voting.
BUT it's taken just under 4 days and

Pretty much better than I expected!! =)
Its goind up and down, few comments, but realy encourage comments!
Its my first official contest, the first was weeks ago I didnt got the idea of the contest and screwed it, so i do not consider it. LOL :D

you're right about your comment on mine Enzo. The general voters didn't like my "bold" post-processing. But I got a lot of "stunning" comments which make up for it.
one of my lowest scores in the making (but still NO to self-DQ).

Was at a steady 6.0 for days and days...and then in came 1 vote last night which dropped it to a 5.95 ugh..so frustrating. I was despondent enough with the 6.0 thinking it was a gorgeous picture (it IS a gorgeous picture) and then it slipped. Oh well.
Only had 6 comments since start of voting. Must be very average in most voters' eyes.
Have seen some astounding pictures and voted accordingly.

| LOL, everyone keeps telling me my image is overexposed...that's intentional! The original was actually a little underexposed. The funny thing is, it's SO overexposed that it hard to believe anyone would imagine that it was just a mistake, or that I hadn't noticed! Oh well, it was a last minute entry to test the water, and at least one voter understood my aim and left a very nice comment. |
