Got my Pentax DA 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 ED IF Fisheye this afternoon.
I am really looking forward to them.

I put the fisheye on and took a few shoots around the gym.







I thought that maybe I would be the first to have photos on the dpc page for this lens, but they are not showing up there.

Does it take some time for it to update?

btw, how many new lenses is that for you in the last few weeks? hmm... :-/

As I usually can't get everything in a shot because of things like walls or cliffs behind me, a super-wide / fisheye has been on my wishlist a while. Sure changes the perspective and opens up the lines of creativity doesn't it?

I think that those are all challenge entries that end up on the lens pages ... highest rated entries ...

hey... if you submit a photo to a challenge with this lens, even if you get the brown you will have the highest rated photo for this lens!

I love the view from over the goal... cool stuff... congrats and enjoy.

BTW, you have to enter challenges with a lens to get them on the lenses page.

Ok, did not see that. I thought the first main page for the lens was for challenge entries, but then if you click (Browse) I was thinking it went to any photos taken with that lens. I now see that is now how it works, darn it anyway. :)

Will have to work on getting a challenge photo with it.

Yeah, I think it's going to be a lot of fun.
I was really happy when I starting using it at the gym.

Of course I put it on the camera at home and took some snap shots in the house, but the gym ones look so much better to me.
