I have a photoshoot with a 24 year old girl I know from back in the days. She wants to take pictures at the Botanical Gardens and other places. Will my SB-600 do the job for nice professional shots until I get abducted by the bees? |

You should be able to do fine with just a flash and a reflector (white cardboard will do). Read this thread for some tips: Portrait Lighting Thread

Just one little bit of advice - Have you taken pics of people at these gardens before? If not it may be worth checking with them before you turn up - I am not sure where you are based but here in LA as soon as I get my camera and lights out (Even on the street) the cops are over me asking for permits etc. I always say I am with a local college doing a project but they still ask me to shut down.
Just a little note just in case - Hope it goes well

Do I get a friend to hold up the reflector? Sorry, never used a reflector before. |

Or you could use a stand. |
