I found a friend's child she gave up for adoption 27 years ago with the help of Google...

...actually that is quite amazing. And it reminded me that I also found my niece who I, and the rest of my family hadn't seen since she was a little girl when my sister died. My sister's ex-husband took my niece away and would never let her see her mom's family. I found her after searching and finding out that she graduated from college with a degree in Physics. I found her just in time to invite her to my Grandpa's 80th birthday and huge family reunion. It was quite a huge deal having her there.
