I'm sure this has been covered, but ever since that other site linked us, this place has been hard to navigate. The question...Can you crop out lens flare in advanced editing? Thanks in advance..

Don't know the answer to that.

But re fireworks ... not so easy to shoot, so I think my entry will be blasted away.

For fireworks III:

1) Find a good position = rooftop or the like, far enough away to get the big picture
2) Know the fireworks program, so you know when to be ready for the good shots
3) Wear appropriate clothes! Could not feel my fingers at last
4) Check this site and ask for fireworks photography tips & how tos

Thank you for the response, The shot, I did what I think was best for it, using the best of my interpretation of how I read the rules. Without giving anything away in regards of indicating which picture is mine. I will say it was the best I could do considering my location. Also I was happy with this one, which means another lower 5 average vote. LOL.

I thought you can crop a picture with any of the editing rules?

Sure you can. But POV is more than just close/not so close; it's also height, and angle of view...

You can crop out anything you want in any kind of editing, basic or advanced. Of course that means making a simple selection and cropping, nothing fancy ;-)
