This just cracked me up. I guess RAW + small jpg wasn't web-friendly enough. :P

I find it funny as hell. What a useless feature...

Not so useless for the market they are targetting. It's a slim p&s, so people will be using it at parties etc. for snapshots (I mean, it has 'face detection' technology as well!)

And if they want a quick and easy way to upload directly to their web album, myspace, blog, or email the shots to their friends *without* having to load the photos into an editing program first and do all the resize/save-for-web stuff...

Well, this sounds like the perfect solution for these consumers.

ETA: If Fuji wanted world domination, all they'd have to do is have a 'webcam' mode, to allow the camera to also be used as a USB webcam. And have a foldaway clip or stand at the bottom to hold it steady when web-camming..... Damn, I should work for Fuji.
