Ack! I just learned what the 'Exclusive' in 'Exclusive Open Challenge' means! I can only submit to one of these? I'm not sure what to do now... I prepared stuff for both!
How do you guys decide between challenges? Or is this just a non-member issue?

That's precisely where my confusion comes in... I don't know which one I like more! I'm pleased to say, their entirely different and I like them for very different reasons, most of which are uncomparable, at least, by someone as inexperienced as I am. Although, this DOES solve my curiousity around there being two Advanced Editing challenges....

Put in the one that you would give the higher score to.

Alternatively, put in the shot that best panders to DPC's voters. Or put in the shot for the challenge with fewer entries, which in theory secures a better placement. Or flip a coin. You've got a couple days to mull it over, maybe you'll keep coming back to one or you'll have time to poll your friends.

Other than that.. Maybe get outside opinion of what someone else likes... Friend, coworker.. someone other than your eyes.

| If both challenges are appealing, I go with whichever has the least amount of entries. Less competition, less voter fatigue. |

Fence for me, but I think I may have made a mistake not entering this one - REMOVED
I thought it would be murdered in the voting so withdrew it. Did I do the right thing?

| Thanks for th heads up. I wouldn't call it an outtake, as it's nothing like the image I've submitted, except there's a fence in it! Should I remove it from this forum anyway? |

I think I've decided to go with the fences entry because it had the least amount of entries (at the time) and I'd really like some comments/feedback, since I'm so new. Hopefully the 'less voter fatigue' will help that. Also, it's the entry I had entered before I realized I couldn't enter the other one.
Once I better learn what qualities are valued and how to do things proper, I'll be able to pick the ones I 'like best' or feel will 'do better'. I guess I can't share my centered composition entry until after that challenge is completely completed, right?
