I don't know, but I wonder if limits should be placed on the # of entries in a challenge. I enjoy going through them and seeing all the great stuff ut there, but, when you get close to 500 entries on one challenge, even over a weeks time, is tedious and time consuming to go through everything and vote......just my .02 |

Which would you prefer...a challenge with 500 entries or 5 with 100???
I can fully appreciate what you are saying, but considering that you need only vote on a small percentage of the images, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Just a thought.

If a limit is placed on the number of entries, entering the challenges would become a race to see who would get their entry in fast enough. Granted that would be good incentive for some to not procrastinate until the last minute, but it would also prevent others from spending that extra time perfecting their image.

Or it would lead to a rush to put in 'place holders' right after midnite. Then some would not get around to replacing the 'place holders' which would mean that very good entries would not get a chance...
