hmm, challenge has been open for 4 days and only 10 entries. Voting should be interesting...

I'm still trying to find that ever ellusive partarage in a pear tree

This challenge just screams DNMC to me. For lack of props to match the verses exactly, I'm taking a pass.

My goal for this challenge is the Brown Ribbon. It's gotta be as naff as possible, unless you happen to know 12 lords, or ten maids a milking.
12/29/2006 09:52:28 AM · #30
Milking maids seems easy, you just need to find a dairy farm and a farmer with 10 totaly hot daughters dressed in dirndles... now where is that damn partarage?
12/29/2006 05:09:45 PM · #31
big whopping 14 people in now...will it break 50?

I wonder if DrJones is going for the Ten Maids a Milking?

Just from re-reading the song I thought of a pretty simple idea. I've got to go shopping for some props. Hopefully I'll get it in.:)

So if my photo is ONE piper piping, or ONE maid a milking, is that a DNMC???

I would hope not, I thought if you used a title like "Swans a Swimming" that would be ok.
And I love how the challenge description says illustrate one or more days. Because I just happen to have twelve extra drummer laying around :-p

Yeah, right!! But you ain't gonna get the Brown! That's mine!

I'm still in the top 50! Sodoff, you might have a fight for the brown--I am predicting a score of 4.5 to 5.0 on my entry.

Yeah, bring it on! Mine will be 3.5! Beat that!

I don't know if mine will go that low. It may be boring and bad, but it's not horrible.

Just entered and I had no intention of entering this at all. But seeing how few entries there were I figured I may as well get in on it.

Dang! I chopped down our pear tree last week, and we ate our turtle-doves for xmas dinner.

Well, golly. Rather a sparse dinner; turtledoves are really just glorified pigeons. Not terribly appetizing ... ooh, sorry, didn't mean to disparage your festivities ;-)

Go on, ruin Xmas and New Year. That partridge was dry! Just waiting for the maids!!

Sodoff, as I was looking at your post I started thinking your name looked familiar. You signed up for the Hoovers on Team Suck many moons ago, yet rarely entered a challenge. As you have never asked to be removed, you are still considered a card carrying member (well, if we had cards) and your sucky score, along with mine, will help the Hoovers suck well this week!

Edit to add: There are now 51 entries, so I am no longer guaranteed to be in the top 50. DARN! :)

I'm still aiming for the top 100, so I'm good.

Not many entries, but the best of luck everyone.....

I think this could be a good challenge for votes especially up against the free study. People can get through this one pretty fast before they embark on the massive challenge.
