I am so stunned that I actually became a finalist for two photos for the month of November at Better Photo. I haven't entered for over 6 months, and decided to try again, and I am a finalist. Unbelievable. Well, no ribbons from dp, but this is pretty good, anyway.

congrats - and good luck with the finals !
i'd say finalist at betterphoto is equal or better than a ribbon here.
if there are 900 finalists they were chosen from roughly 20000 images...
in any catagory there is likely 2000 contenders.
the judges are professional photographers.
i got a premium gallery there awhile back for coming in second - felt pretty good. that same image came in 4th here for linesII challenge. //www.betterphoto.com/?soup
