| Well I was going to suggest Alex that you make it one of yours to wrestle the 5D record away from me again, that would make me really keep up an effort to be on top of my game next year :) |

My goal is to remove all of Achoo's photos from this page here
or lose the couple I have on it to him.

Mine:
Score 5 in a challenge, and then do better in every challenge.
Learn photoshop
save the money to pay for membership
sign up for as many photography courses as possible

Learn masking technique
Become more familiar with layers
Figure out dodge and burn
Keep up with my Picture a Week blog
Maintain my Photo a Day blog
Personally like my challenge entries (regardless of the final vote!)
While raising my scores would be great, I can't control that, so I will aim for personally liking my shots. I have entered some in the past that I did not like, usually for technical reasons. (Thank goodness it is still 2006, as I don't think too highly of my 12 Days of Christmas entry!) |

1. Enter more challenges
2. Get at least a 6
3. Really try to score a 7+
4. Ribbon
5. Continue to learn more stuff in photoshop
6. Play around with photoshoot ideas & possibly get a photoshoot

2006 DPC Photography Goals
Do a photo a day
Score above 5.5 for 5 entries in a row
Score above 6.0 (Painting With Light)
Score 6.0 again(Something New III)
Score above 6.5 (Refraction of Light)
Score 6.5 again (Spots)
Score above 7.0 (Indulgence)
Score above 7.0 again
Score a 7.2 (or higher would be cool)
Ribbon ( Indulgence)
In 2007
Get my average back to over 5.5, and keep it there
Do a Photo A Day
Do a Photo A Week (Black and White only)
Score 5.5+ for 5 entries in a row. (I almost did this one, but the 5th one finished at 5.48xx. :( )
Score 6.0+ for 3 entries in a row.
Score 6.5
Score 7.0
Score 7.2+
Keep my comments given higher than my comments received

2006 Goals: (from a thread by the same name)
1. Blue ribbon dangit!
2. 7 Ribbons total for the year (yikes!) (count: eleven and six honorable mentions)
3. Average vote up to 6.15 That was too easy 6.25 Accomplished 11/26, now I have to hold it.
4. 7.5+ photo.
5. Do Justice, Love Mercy, Walk in Humility
2007 Goals:
1. Score an 8+
2. Sell my work in a gallery setting.
3. Average score received to 6.35
4. As always, Do Justice, Love Mercy, Walk in Humility
Simple stuff this year, but all will be tough.

- Beat scalvert in this list
- Beat scalvert in a concept challenge (that's hard)
- Catch up in comments given to comments received
- PAW, "in focus for 2007"
- Enter less challenges, only when photos are worth it
- Ribbon in one of the "expert" challenges
- Have the most ribbons by a woman photog at DPChallenge |

My Goals (small steps, I tell myself, small steps!)
1. Understand at least half of what y'all are saying on the forums, and 'general' doesn't count
2. Understand enough about the scoring system so I can have a definitive goal next year
3. Not to pass up any challenges just because I don't understand what they're supposed to be (I guess this goes with #1?)
4. Graduate to a 'real' camera
5. Buy a membership
