Well, all you peeps that are into SP here is a little fly in the
ointment. Maybe.

I can see some of the privacy concerns related in the article but I believe it will be some time in the future before you really have to worry about it.

Interesting. I did not understand the example they gave of a tourist clicking you by mistake and chance of Boss finding it .

I think the basis is that if sufficient other images of yourself have been correctly labeled then their identity matching software will have a higher probability of correctly assigning that label tot he image of you in the background. Doesn't sound watertight to me; given the following:
- the significant addional processing for an image based matching algorithm (consider how long CS2 takes to grind away on our shots).
- the sheer volume of face based images on the web - consider a ramdon crowd scene.
- just how many similar looking people there are over the entire human population.

I think for now at least privacy by obscurity is safe.
