| Did anyone watch it? Comedy Central last nite. I laughed so hard. Those things are vicious! Poor Kirk. |

I particularly liked all the 'bloated' comments he received.
Shatner took it in stride though....he has a great attitude. |

Poor Piccard?? Shatner did the best he could within his limited abilities (and made a fortune BTW) But Patric Stewart aka "Piccard" is a classically trained thesbian, experienced in Shakespeare. I can't imagine roasting him. I would feel... well, wrong.
(Do you think Farrah Fawcett needed a little hair of the dog the next day?) |

I heard the original star trek series were operating on an insanely low budget and the ability of the acting was paramount for the shows success.
One thing I learned was that William Shatner is Jewish. Now that surprised me....but only because he doesnt fit the physical stereotype.

P.S. It sure helps to search for "Roast" instead of "Toast"... *rolls eyes*
