Trying to replace a my Smartmedia card  for my Olympus C 720 UZ.Current card has a error.But not having much luck at finding that type of card in near by stores.Can I use a Multimedia card?This Smartmedia card must be past history...

I don't really see any merchant names I recognize there, but as you say they seem to be going bye-bye. |

eBay has several, mostly the smaller ones -- but they are definitely getting expensive.
There is also the option of an XD to SmartMedia converter that allows you to use XD cards, but I doubt the door on the card slot would close while using it.

A new zealand online trade site but there are a few of them for sale.
Expensive here but with the exchange rate being what it it is,, who knows

Check out the Olympus Ebay store. They run frequent auctions for smartmedia cards. 128megs goes for about $65.
