When I submitted my photo to a current challenge, I read that I could go back and edit the text that I wrote at the time.

Now I can't figure out how to get behind the scenes (so to speak) to change the text. Can someone enlighten me, please?

Thanks!!

You can't edit the text of an image that is currently in the voting phase. Once the results are posted you will find an "edit" link in your image data field and you may then edit the details or photographer's comment as you wish.

On the positive side, no one can read it either.

What I discovered you can do is if you dont fill out your tech info (aperture/shutter spd/iso) as well as not filling out info in your detail and then mid voting period click the critique club box you get an opprotunity to fill out everything - not just your tech info. If you already have details filled in you cant edit it midvote, just if it was empty to begin with.

Haha! Now THAT's a hack if I have ever seen one :-)

Yeah, too bad we might have to take that away : (

In the meantime, this is a good tip for people with last-minute submissions -- I know I hate missing the deadline because I'm filling out information ...

Hmmm- not sure why you would have to take it away. Is it bad form to be able to edit your detail info midweek?

Perhaps only as a matter of fairness, since the option isn't available to all submitters.

I said "might" because it hasn't come to anyone else's (SC members) attention, and I don't know how they'll react, or how Langdon prioritizes his programming time.
