Ive been fascinated by splash and liquid photography for awhile now. Seems appropriate to post these links now that we have our own Liquid challenge rolling.
This is one of my favorite "splash and liquid" photographers Steve Strawn's website Splut
Another cool site that I like is Trengove Studios They make some realistic acryllic pieces used to resemble drips, drops, splashes, etc. for commercial photography.

Steve's stop motion stuff is the best of it's kind. He uses a sound trigger to capture it. Totally dark room, Shutter open, drop glass, sound trigger fires flash on first sound. I think he made his own trigger but one can be bought here ( //www.bmumford.com/photo/spec.html ) for about $350 with the sound module. Pretty expensive but pretty tempting...

Check this out from a Fred Miranda forum post: Tiffiny Lamp How's that for stop motion/liquid shooting? You may have to scroll to the top to see the "tiffany lamp."

The lighting set-up and control seems a bit simplistic to me. Other than that, wonderful capture.

both sites are neat.. there is a "prop" that could have come in handy for me for the liquid challenge. That photo ended up as an outtake, but I will share it after the challenge.

Okay, after looking through that lot it's unlikely that any of this weeks entries will get more than a 7 from me! ; )
