So.. What is your plan for the new year.. its time to decide.

I plan to double my studio sittings to help pay for a daughter starting college.

I deny that 2006 is close to the end, so refuse to make such a thing until Santa visits the kids ;-)

I love making resolutions, even though I never follow them. But it's too early...resolutions come after Christmas.

-Volunteer at a local orphanage. I did it once last year and it was the best day of my life... extremely sad but so moving. I would like to do it on a weekly basis. I have the volunteer forms, just got fill em out and send em back!
-Make more prints of photos instead of just posting them on a random blog lost in cyberspace
-learn: to make hemp jewlery, dance salsa and/or tango, to skateboard, real photoshop,....
-surf more frequently... i live about 200 steps from the beach for goodness' sake!!
-eat more fruit and salads. MMMMMmMmMMmM!!!!
-be full of gumption... somethin' i've been lackin' lately!

-Lose weight (eat less, & actually exercise)
-Take some photography classes
-Quit smoking
-Volunteer for something that benefits the community
-Learn to have more patience!
-Get away from work/headaches/home a little more than we had the chance to last year :)

Edit to add: Those little santa hats are very cute btw!!

Photography wise...

- Take less crap.
- Learn to use flashes (got a 580 [for someone who hates flashes, this works really well] and umbrella & eBay wireless for old film flash - although having to use manual flash taught me some stuff).
- Slow down and think more about the final image before hitting the button.
- Did I mention, Take less crap :-)

I'm going to start losing this 35 pounds I put on when I quit smoking in 99 that I cant seem to shake. I'm going to throw myself fully into my freelancing and sports shooting. Pay off my Credit cards that have funded my photography business so far. And be a better husband and father at home.
