Santa ( my dearest wife )was cool to me this year, she left me a Manfrotto monopod and a logan cutter ( so i can start framing my own shots ) and then the kids spoilt me with after shave and chocolates and heaps of other stuff. |

Lots of PS3s around here - $950 or so is the asking price for the 60Gb model. 4 or 5 were in the paper this week in the want ads section. Some guy has a plywood sign in his front yard, asking $1000 - it was still there as of 3pm today. I guess no takers! |
whhaaat at my work we have PS3's in stock and its $699 CDN for a 60gig |

I've been getting lots of goodies already - fun bling earrings and a stunning ring, vanilla bath and body stuff, movie tickets, money, a cool plate with home made cookies. I'm going to get a better camera with the money - it's not enough to get what I want, but I should be able to get a decent powershot - especially now that there are good sales.
As an aside: What are you giving for Christmas? |

I just got a present that I wasn't expecting when I clicked on to the GLASS!!! re the thread below.....
I was so surprised to find three of my "macro" images were here, under the tops macro image with this Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro lens of mine.....
My image is actually the highest rated at 6.725, plus I also have My Duckling image and my Orchid flower as well.....Wow, I was totally blown away by this.....

an online friend got me this, this, and this from my Amazon wishlist.
tonight i got some comfy pajamas, the new Jerry Lee Lewis cd, one of those battery operated manicure thingys, some beautiful stationary (e-mails are fine and very expedient but nothing beats a handwritten letter on nice stationary!), and...i'm still completely surprised and teary-eyed...my mom and stepdad got me a laptop computer! wheeeeee!!! all i need is a wireless router and i'm all set! :D

Only one present so far this xmas (it's still the 24th where I am) and it's from myself. A Sigma EF-500 DG Super flash. So far so good. :-) You should be seeing a few new things from me now that I have a suitable light source.
Happy holidays everyone! |

I'm getting (i know already) a wireless keyboard and mouse. |
Hehehehe...hope you got lots of batteries. Don't believe them when they tell you that they last for ages...they have obviously never come up against a DPC addict...hehehehehe!! I ended up changing back to a corded set. Nothing worse then trying to type a comment and your mouse and keyboard stop working. I think I wore my reset buttons out...lmao!! |
mm i dunno about that, i change my 2 aa batteries for my keyboard once every 1 1/2 months, sometimes more, and im on for 5+ hours per day after work and such. its not that bad really, i just have 4 rechargable AA batteries that i alternate, works quite well. |
