I am going thru the big guys presents for tonight making sure I have the right batteries to avoid a disaster and I find this phrase on one that I cannot comprehend...

" Required 2 AA Batteries - Included"

Help? :-)

Sounds to me like it runs on 2 AA batteries and they stuck some cheapos in the box.

What Baron said. But if you have kids and are giving battery-operated toys/devices, you should stock up on a bunch of AA batteries anyway.

Sounds like that but it cannot be true - I am struggling to understand that it could/might/maybe just work out of the box :-) Okay - The cheapos will prob have a operating life of 3 minutes but it's just so unusual.

Yeah - I have a bunch along with some re-chargeable ones I use in flashes and such (photg reference to avoid off topic). There is always one yahoo (my brother is good at this) that gives a toy that need some obscure battery combo. My fav was the one that needed 3 stacked watch batteries - I have to find something to thank him for that one :-o)

Okay then - No need for backup's :-)

I also have the little wire cutters so I can cut the ^&%$##$ toys out of the packaging they come in now days.

Be sure to snap some pics of the batteries in case a challenge comes up that they might be useful for. :)

Should say "Requires" but that's what happens when things get made in China.

Like: Insert included required batteries (sold separately) in Tab "A".
