What's this? A Yahoo trash message board troll exercise? Besides the usual weekly navel-gazing about what the challenge entails, there was a discussion going on about some more interesting aspects, such as what is art and whether one has the ability to vote at dpc with the borrowed eyes of 'some' curator.

See previous message about poles up people's asses, I guess.

It's humor. I realize dpc doesn't have a sense of humor, but really now. I'm a troll? I'm trying to quickly end the ridiculous attitude problem everyone's had lately by inducing some measure of ridiculousness into posts myself. This is MY opinion on this whole post? Obviously a few others got it.

Can we take a picture of sand and a sunset if the sand IS in an office and the sunset is coming in through the window? :D Instead of carpet, tile, etc., I like sand as my flooring.

Well the dictionary says: Office: A place in which business, clerical, or professional activities are conducted.

So your pic should reflect "business, clerical, or professional activities" probably. It doesn't have to be in YOUR office. Any office or business would do. As to "Office Art", it's really up to the voter as to if they will like YOUR interpretation of "Office Art" or not and whether or not they think it fits the challenge. :)

Personally, I have a pretty clear idea of what I'll be looking for in this challenge, and sand + sunset isn't it. But that's just me. :)
