| Ok well the weather is weird today, first this morning it snowed a little on my way to work (3am) then at around 4am there was a big lightning storm followed by lots of rain (flooded a local road), at like 3-4am there were recorded wind gusts of 170km/h on vancouver island, apperently hurricane winds are like 120km/h, correct me if im wrong on that but ya its crazy.. then at 7am the clouds were gone and it was 12° and sunny for most of the day. I have no real reason for posting this i just thought it was funny how fast the weather changes here in bc. People always seem to think that it snows all the time in canada, but this will be the 3rd snow-free christmas in a row :S ok im done posting about random things now, go back about your buisness :) |

Are you on the island?
We had mostly a mix of snow/rain today in the Kootenays.

| im not on the island no, im close though, vancouver island got the brunt of that storm, we got gusts of 70-80kms/h, still rough but bareable. |
