Could someone do me a favour?
I need to turn this gif file into a ico file, and I don't want to install an entire program just to do this once. Thanks!

Could someone check whether you can see the icon in the adress bar?

Yup, it's there. Firefox 1.5 under WinXP, SP2.
BTW, I used Irfanview for hte conversion, it's one little program I would not be without. |

Thanks again. Seems as if IE requires you to add the site to your favorites before showing the icon. It's giving me a hard time anyway, ignoring half of the CSS I specify.
Kirbic, I've heard of IrfanView, but I thought there was no point in getting it if you had a general graphics program? |

I keep Irfanview around because it supports so many obscure formats, it's incredibly fast-loading (read "nearly instant") and makes it really easy to output a nice clean listing of EXIF data to the clipboard, something that's usually a PITA to get.

Thanks biteme.
Hm, sounds as if I had to get hold of IrfanView, it seems like a good way to replace my habit of using the Windows 'preview' function for opening images quickly. |
