 I need an advice:
 WHAT TO BUY FIRST:
-buy now 17-40 and in May buy 70-200 f/2.8...
 or
-buy now 70-200 f/4.0 and in May buy 17-40...

 Please.... say your opinion...

		| | I suppose it depends on what you are planning on shooting from now until May. If you shoot landscapes...get the 17-40. If you shoot animals and people...get the 70-200. Of course, the f2.8 is awesome and allows you to shoot in more places then the f4.0. So buying the 17-40 first might be your best bet.
I have both and usually shoot with the 17-40 for what it is worth.

		| | Depends on what you most want to shoot, of course. But you already have the 18-55mm lens, so your need for the 17-40mm is considerably less urgent than your need for more reach. So based on that, I'd get the big, white zoom first.

 What do you have now?

What do you want to shoot?

What do you want to shoot between getting lenses?

Me? I would get the 17-40 and get the 70-200 f2.8 later, but that's only because it fits with the things I like to shoot.

		| | 17-40 = landscape 70-200 = sports, concert and walk-around lens.
