Which are you unimpressed with, the Tokina? or the Canon? It occurs to me that I could get the Tokina instead of the Canon and pick up a Sigma 70-200 2.8. Might be stretching a tad, but not much...

I suggest that before you discount the 10-22, you take a look at what Bear_Music has done with it. Also, while the difference between 10mm and 12mm may not seem like much, it can be significant.

I'd like to say i'd get an HD video camera, but the real answer is. 85 1.8 and a bunch of studio equipment.

I'm with Spazmo, nice range and build quality.

That'd be useful in a National Park.

Lol, yeah, last time I tried getting the bears to come in the "studio" they were strangely uncooperative. Actually, my brother and I did manage to get a bird to land on his head the last time we were out there. I have a nice picture of it somewhere...

i'd get the 24mm 1.4 and use my legs to zoom.

guess it wouldn't be the best for nature stuff though.

I'd go for the Canon EF-S 10-22mm and the EF 24-105mm L IS USM; if you can bear being without that all important 23mm focal length. Might set you back a little more though.
