OMG, I try to imagine that hand showing up on the turn in World Series of Poker, with some other poor dude holding pocket Aces...

I love the fact that it says he won with "High Card Ace"

You want balloons and cheerleaders. . . you get "High card Ace."

This year in the WSOP Main Event ($10,000 buy in), first 1/2 hour. Sam Farha had A/10 and some kid has pocket tens. Flop came A A 10....Sammy bet, kid raises, Sammy all in, kid calls drawing dead.....out of the tournament. Close enough?

Grrrr, at a recent APL game I had pocket aces and got another ace on the flop. But one of the other players hit a royal flush on the river.

I'm not writing it off as a bad beat - I played the hand badly and could have come out ok if I hadn't let the emotions take over. Live and learn...
