can you just screen capture the image, then start a new file in PS, then just paste the capture in that new file?

Hey, maybe somebody should tell Bush to go on the Internets and use Google Earth to find BinLaden's house (or, cave)!! :)

OK, let me tell you a fun story about my house...

Last week, I was awakened at 3AM by odd animal sounds. Well, I started sneaking around the house, and to my relief I realized the sounds were from outside the house. So, I went to the back door, which was opened, but the screen door was shut. I just stood for awhile until my eyes adjusted to the moonlight.

And, there, in the goiaba (guava) trees behind our house was a troop of monkeys, picking fruit. Pretty fun. I watched them from my patio for a few minutes and then lit them up with my flashlight. They ran away, came back, and then ran away again. That is one thing that makes it fun living where I do:)

Location, location, location...

Google Earth does not give a good photo, this one is from my city's website. It's also a couple of years old as it doesn't show our deck or the neighbour's fence and there are no more homes under construction here.

.

The Solar Paneled house of lesgainous ;-)

The first image is my house, the second image is my house (the red pushpin) relative to the whole area of Huntington Beach. This is to give perspective as to our my proximity to the beaches of the Pacific Ocean (about a mile away).

If you want aerial views where you can tilt and skew the perspective, as if you were flying by (3-D views), you may want to check out Virtual Earth.

New Mexico is not quite as pretty as Iceland but what can you do? How about live 30 miles from the Trinity Site.
