Ok do the boarders onyour entries have to be plain, or can you use custom boarders? As in like fancy designs and what not, or do they have to be plain.

DPC history has proven again and again that the voters as a whole dislike most custom borders. In advanced, there are ways to accomplish them, however, you're better off to showcase your image, not your border.

Some people take in boarders if they need some extra money, but I've always found it uncomfortable to have strange people in the house.

As Idnic noted, you're better off using simple borders, but more eleborate ones are allowed. Just remember that it must be a single frame, clearly recognizable as a border, and you can't paste in artwork, text or parts of other photos.

oh well i tried it and it looked bad on the image, so ill keep it simple then.
