I was wondering how often people unsubmit a photograph and submit another one for whatever reason. I've done it twice already for the Liquid challenge simply because I've come up with better ideas. How about you?

I haven't got any idea yet! :-(

I usually wait for my "best" before submitting, but I have done the submit, unsubmit, submit again thing on occassion. Sometimes when I post, it looks a bit different than it did in PS, so I have to adjust the levels or something, but not often.

I quie often bash something out and submit it as a stop-gap, meaning to change it later if/when a better idea come along: quite often don't get a better idea.

Sometimes what I'm striving for (and think I've achieved) doesn't quite seem the same after I've uploaded the image. It just looks different on the dpc site, maybe I've been voting so much I look at my own differently in this venue, I don't know. But, bottom line is that I've been up and down and up and downloading. I've only just entered my fourth challenge and my ideas and things I'm trying are changing minute by minute! 8-) I may have a new version before the deadline...

I sometime audition more than one. I'll look at them on the two different computers to see how they look on a bright monitor and one a little dimmer. Maybe use both challenges so I can go back and forth. Also, sometime they just look different on the site than in PS.

I unsubmit and resubmit frequently.

I try to submit an entry at least 24 hours before the deadline. Then I set the photo as background and glance at it on my desktop while I'm doing other things.

Nine times out of 10 I see the need for some kind of PS adjustment I didn't see when I originally worked on it or I decide to use another photo altogether because once it's up on the DPC website, it somehow doesn't have the qualities I liked it for originally.

Sometimes I'll submit a picture to see what it looks like on the DPC page. I'll do that a couple of times if I'm not sure which one to submit.

I had it happen with the last two challenges...as for the sound and liquid challenge I may not have a thing to worry about I haven't even thought about it, I've been to busy this week to really think about it.

I'm thinking it would be easier to upload all your versions to the workshop folder and they could be viewed without the sub/unsub bother. Then just submit the best one?
