What in the world was your score anyways? SC possibly did your average a favor too.

| I think you'll find the contact form works wonders for gaining feedback from the SC. Callout threads like this one accomplish little aside from making the OP look silly. |

Well, I'd submit to you that justice *was* clearly served. You ignored the editing rules for Basic Advanced Editing challenges, it came to our attention, and we applied the rules, in exactly the same way as we would have done for anyone else, including one of us.
We do take the rules seriously. We have to. We can't just decide that we're going to apply them based on how we fel that day. We really didn't "overdo it" but did it the same as we always do.
Thanks to mk for pointing out that i wrote Basic where I whould have written Advanced.

I am, very paranoid on this site..lol. I have my reasons. I love the admins though. Admins on this site are intelligent people. After im done with Photography in school, Im publishing my own magazine and the Kudos will be evident when I advertise this site due to my love for it.

I went there last Fall.
I did not like it.
Did not like it at all.
The Preacher was a freak
he thought he was funny
and I think all he wanted
was all of our money.

RulerZZ, dont feel bad. I spent three hours setting up my image (while slowly sipping on a 1/2 bottle of Stoli's), made sure the date was correct before setting custom white balance, changed into costume, then snapped my masterpiece on 12/3/07 obviously two days before deadine (:
My 2nd entry on DPC- I was banging on a 6 score...then I wasd DQ'd for the newbie mistake...
Oh well, live and let die

I've been plenty PO'd for DQ in the past - My Three Horses (4th place) was particularly painful.
But to put it in perspective -
A ribbon here doesn't get you anything -
I've never even come close to a ribbon (other than that mentioned above) however I made enough money from my current Free Study entry to pay for my camera - the fourth photo I've taken at that rate that has done poorly on DPC.
I decided that making money was much more rewarding than gif files - and all of this DPC craziness fell right into perspective. I honestly wish the same for you - whatever that perspective ends up being. |

I had a 4th place DQ'd also. Yeah, what floats my boat is a big stock sale, I've been teasing  ristyz that her 3rd place ribbon in Light On White was just trumped by a catalog cover sale of mine...you can't dine on a ribbon (or get more glass with it.) :-D |
