A few feature upgrades wouldn't be worth waiting for. I dont see them going up on Megapixels or sealed body but maybe the self cleaning sensor. How well does that work anyway? Will they upgrade in March or will it be much later in the year? Has anyone know of error problems on the 5D. My 20d always hated my 100-400L in cold weather.

Personally I don't consider rumor and speculation when making a purchasing decision. No upgraded 5D has been announced, therefore in my opinion it is not too late to be buying a 5D. Even were some new model around the corner, 5D pricing would reflect that and if you like everything the 5D offers then why wait?

If you need the newest bells and whistles, then I'd say wait. Canon traditionally announces in March. If you are looking for "bang for your buck" and a good price point, then I'd say now is the time. You can take advantage of the rebates and holiday prices.
I have had zero problems with mine.

With the rebates, prices are really attractive; basically, $1000 less than only 14 months ago. It's not clear at all whether they will update it in March. I'd expect something in the 1 Series, but the 5D will only be 18 months old, and I'd suggest that this market segnment cannot support that kind of product life cycle, at least for long.
