And for me personally, I am entering something new, part of a project this month that was a great learning experience. So I am truly interested in hearing the responses and comments. And I might even be so bold as predict a high score too...

Beau, that's hardly a bold prediction.

Well I'm in too.... think we'll hit 600?

I'm holding my breath on this one. My entry has been in for a couple weeks now, and I haven't shot anything since that even remotely equals it in my eyes. It's not exactly new ground for me (I broke new ground in FS XIV and suffered for it), but it's a different approach to familiar ground anyway. I hope the voters like it as much as I do, but free studies are SUCH a crapshoot...

Good luck to all of us :-)

I am bad at picking the right one. I just uploaded what I think will be my entry. So far I have had 4 different ones uploaded this month.

I have been in for a while with a very different image for me. A lackluster month overall for choices. Outside of this one I didnt have much of anything. I dont expect it to come even close to my last 3 FS scores.

This is my first Free Study or any member challenge for that matter. I went through my photo's and picked the one that drew me in. I am excited yet scared lol here it comes. Good Luck all.

Fear is good. Excitement is excellent. Welcome to the wacky world of member challenges, and the downright humbling world of free studies.

Now that I have THAT out of the way, let's discuss your user name :-) I can't make up my mind whether you misspelled "darkened", or whether it's your intention that I visualize a sharp, shiny blade thrust into a sensitive portion of your anatomy...

Only thing that sucks about Free Study is ... well nothing actually. Would be nice if there was a Free Study weekly along with the rest.

LMAO!!! I didn't like how long the SN became so I hacked it lol. I have a dark side to me and my last name is Sword. So I went with it.

Well, there have been a handful of times I had a good feeling of a well received image. This just might be one of them.

Yeah, well we know about your eyes - learn to close 'em more often when out shooting and give the rest of us a chance will ya?

waited until the minute once again. Two months in a row with an entry on the very last day of free study. I hope I do better this time than last. I had envisioned this shot for the whole month, but had little spare time to venture out with camera. This past week I had waited many days for the right conditions, and tonight was the night. Just in time, too. I wonder what the roll-over will bring.

Good luck everybody!

Agreed with Bear, free studies are such a crapshoot. I entered something well outside my box, but am doing all of that last minute agonizing over all the pretty pony shots made at the beginning of the month! Good luck, all.
