Ready to order a new Canon 5D. Been looking around. Price wise it looks like the following are about the best. Now, ya'll let me know which ones are the best service, fastest shipping and most honest please. Also if you have a less expensive and honest company in mind let me know. I'm sure others can use this info also. Thanks.

WOW, if photo are are good indication ... I don't think any of them in the photos look very promising, thanks

I can vouch for 17th st photo, buydig, and digital foto as I have purchased from all 3 before with no problems. buydig seems by far to be the best though. check out www.resellerratings.com first anytime before you buy online though.

I have ordered a few things from Adorama Camera. They also sell through amazon and it seems like the prices are better if you find the items on Amazon.

I have also found Cameta Camera to be a decent place. I have purchased through eBay (cametaauctions) from them.

Based on the resellerratings, I'd make your choice between dbuys.com or buydig.com. B&H is actually only $72 more than buydig and has a higher rating but all three have respectable ratings and should probably be fine.

That's a pretty good price there at buydig.com. I've never used them. I managed to buy my camera locally for $2999 back in March of this year. They only had the $300 rebate at the time, but I figured $2700 for a full frame camera was one-heckuva-deal. So $2727 minus $600 in rebates is one sweet deal that just shouldn't be passed up! Go for it. :-)

Wait... adorama has it for only $2349. I do almost all of my online shopping at adorama!

Yup you are right, somehow I either reversed the 9 and 7 or got into B&H with different pricing, probably my error.

Like others, I can vouch for buydig and 17th street photo. The only negative that I can think of with 17th street photo is their short return policy. All returns must be made within seven days of the package receipt. I recently sent back a 200-500 Tamron to them and was credited back the full purchase price the very next day. No hassles at all. Buydig has a much better return policy, and I bought most of my equipment through them. They also ship very quickly, as did 17th Street Photo.

I've been to the B&H store in NYC (as recent as last Christmas). Its a very big place, with tons of employees, smack in the middle of Times Square. The high rent and overhead is probably why they're higher priced than some other places that don't have the bells and whistles.

It's actually on the corner of 9th ave and 34th st. And yeah, that place is HUGE.

Here's my usual shill for sigma4less.com. Cheaper than BH, fast, no problems with returns, no problems with any orders I've placed through them.

B&H has great service.

The 5D can be had for $2749.95 if you use the code psnov in the search bar.

Proud owner now of a new Canon 5D. Did it through BuyDig. Paid a total of $16 shipping and got it in three days.

WOW, only a few pics taken so far, amazing and love the huge LCD view too.
