Thanks Phantom, can both licences be checked? Wouldn't that be the way to go? More sales that way? |

Good luck! It took about a month for mine to arrive and process here from California. |

So I've noticed a TON of photos on Alamy don't have model or location releases.
Does everyone here have releases for all their pics? Does not having one dramatically affect sales? |

I'm getting frustrated now. After 15 days there was finally a status change on my submission. Last Thursday it changed from "media received" to "processing". According to the Alamy "processing" means that my images are being uploaded. 5 days later I am still "processing". I have 242 images in limbo.

LOL, do you live in a really remote area where the mail only leaves or arrives once a month or something? ;) I've sent a 2nd DVD last week and they sent me an email yesterday saying they've received it. :)

"I don't want FOP! I'm a Dapper Dan man, goddammit!"
"Watch your language sir. That will take 2 weeks to get."
"Well! Isn't this place a geographical anomaly?! Your 2 weeks from everything!"
O' Brother, Where Are't Thou
And I am in Colorado, 60 miles north of Denver, in a well sized town. :) If I lived where I grew up, I may understand (Yuma, CO).

They recieved mine in a week.
Took a little over a week for them to process and reject me because of a flaw on one of the images. (Just had to be the first one)
So I emailed them to see if I had upsized correctly or if there was anything I needed to do differently for my next cd. They looked over all the other images and decided to go ahead and accept me with the 9.
Yeah! Im in! So now its still saying 'Media Recieved'
waiting for them to switch them over so I can keyword them.
And now to start building my first disk load.

Last week I e-mailed Alamy support to inquire why it was taking so long. They responded that due to the increase in submissions they have changed the process time from 14 to 25 workingdays.
This morning my images finally changed from "processing" to "awaiting QC". It's been a month since I mailed that disk, 25 days since they received it.

25 working days seems a bit excessive to me.
when are they going to get this upload business going? it seems like they really don't have their act together lately. |

Hi Everyone... it's funny... I signed up and was accepted about a year ago. Been holding off submitting more until they have an upload system.
Just wondering what license type most people use? I imagine you'd make more for L then RF, but I could be wrong. |

Hey all - check your email. There should be a survey request from Alamy. Please take a few minutes and fill it out -- they're trying to get our online uploading sorted out and need our input. Maybe it will speed them along!!

Something weird. I have been watching the # of images available at Alamy climb by 10,000 images a day on week days. Today it dropped by 40,000 (7.18 million to 7.14) Anybody else notice this?

I had noticed that it was climbing daily, but didn't see this drop.
Good. Maybe they're finally culling the crap.
