Alright - Challenges #16 and #17 are posted on the compete page! You have your choice of editing the same image (thanks jaded_youth!) using the DPC Advanced Editing rules and the PPC Creative Editing rules.

Remember, you can only sign up for one challenge at a time, so decide which you will enter. It'll be interesting to compare the results of the two challenges.

Cheers,
-Jeff

PS - folks currently registered in #15 will be able to join #16 or #17 tomorrow when #15 goes into the voting phase.

The site is looking and working great. But someone needs to apply advanced editing rules and perhaps the first DQ. I see an entry on the winners page that clearly doesn't meet DPC's advanced editing. I don't think I have to name it, it's pretty obvious!

Read the challenge descriptions first - each challenge has had different rules.

And exactly where do I see the rules for "Challenge #9: Classic Lady", queenie? ;) No description when I click on the challenge.

When I clicked I got:
"Challenge description:
Let's see what you can do with this. Get creative - there is no defined rulset on this one, except "make it look good!"
"

Ok, now I see it. It must have suddenly appeared due to a glitch.

At least that's my story and I'm sticking too it.

Thanks.

I noticed the glitch too. When you said "where can I see the rulesets for past challenges?" I went searching too and didn't see it there. Once everyone started posting to click on the challenge name, voila! There it was! I of course knew a DQ was not going to occur, Nathan always follows the rules. :o)

Well - it appeared because I read your post, and realized that I hadn't made the challenge description clear outside the compete page. So now it's plain as day on the voting (and post-challenge-completion viewing) pages as well.

Real-time updates! What more could you ask for?! =)

Right on! You're doing a great job on the site.

Another suggestion is that it would be nice if my log-in didn't time out. I was editing a photo and entering my pp'ing steps as I went, but when I was done and tried to upload, it said "you have to be logged in to do that" and I had to go back adn retype. Not a huge deal, but would add to the convenience aspect.

Thanks for clarifying that. Now I feel at least a little less stupid! ;)

Hi all,

Today is the last day to get your submissions in for Challenge #16 and #17:

Congrats to Djabordjabor on his winning edit in Challenge #13!

Also, Challenge #18 will be posting tomorrow with a shot from BradP. Here's a sneak peak:
