Okies...I need some help here.

Yesterday arvo my computer died completely. I was fortunat enough to have done a backup onto my external drive yesterday, so I didn't lose my work, but the computer I am working on uses a different email programme. Therefore I can't access my list of postcard people until I get the new computer back. Sooooooooo...can everyone who was on my list please email me their address and choice of postcards.

Also...someone told me that it is illegal to post a naked postcard through USA. Is this true? And if so....should I put it in an envelope before posting to your country.

Opinions please!

Card #2 just showed up in the box - all the way from Spain! Thanks Mambe! I would love to have scenery like that in my neck of the woods.

I've ordered mine so they should go out first of next week.

Ok...I have ordered mine. Unfortunately, due to lack of suitable printers I had to have them printed overseas so they may take a little bit longer to get to everyone. Please be patient.

I don't know if it's illegal, actually, but certainly our prudish societry wouldn't look very kindly upon it. I think it would be fine with some strategically placed stickers.

Nudes would probably get lost in the mail (ie stolen by some lonely postal worker) :-)

Hmmm...are you one of those lonely postal workers??? LOL!!

I remember when I was a teenager and we sent a xmas parcel to my sister on the other side of Australia. Included in the wrapped parcel was a few sets of pretty frilly knickers. She received the parcel...minus the knickers. To this day I still picture some male weirdo in a postie uniform wearing those frilly knickers!!!! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Okay, this is a slight departure from the "trade" idea, but if anyone has extra postcards from this project, would you consider sending them to this little boy? I'm going to send him one of mine, even though it's only coming from across town.

postcard address for little boy being adopted in Denver

I read that he likes cars, so in my files I found shots of: an Alfa Romeo Spider in Berlin, a Rolls Royce in Rome and a Lamborghini in Copenhagen. Have made postcards, got his adress on them, just need stamps and off they go.

You are welcome! I LOVE it when I see my name spelled that way, heartwarming. I might even send more postcards to you when I have done my "correctly-spelled-name-dance".

I got my first card!! In fact it's my first piece of mail that wasn't a bill forwarded from my old address, so that's even better. Thanks, Guðrún!! (Now you have to tell us how you pronounce your name, too.)

I'm going to line them all up along one of my windows so I can look at them. I think we ought to do postcards once every couple of months or so!

ALL of mine are finally in the mail! I've received 4 from people on my list and just love them!! I'll have to think of some creative way to display them, right now they're attached to the side of my CPU with magnets. Are magnets bad on the side of the CPU case? :P

It's the G and V together I'm having a hard time with - sure I can't just call you GooGee? :-)

Let me know the next time you plan to visit Germany, by the way. We should get together somewhere! (I've figured out how to ride trains and everything.)

GuGi is fine :) It is the effort that is apreciated.
I might be travelling down to Frankfurt in a few months, so we can look into the matter.
It was fun sending that card to you, hmmmm, I wonder where that is said the lady at the postoffice. But then we figured that it should be sent as if it was for a Dane in the same job, sort of. So we put enough for it to get a ride to the US.
