My new, sweet wonderful 30D! And since I don't want it to be all lonely without a new lens, I will get one of those too - something in the super-wide range (either Sigma's 8mm fisheye or their 12-24mm EX DG lens).

But FIRST! I will need to sell my 10D to actually afford the lens.

Oh, and I need to get me a pair of warm shoes for the winter.

Yeah, got one of those myself a month ago. It's a screamer! Using RSP, I can be going through and picking out the raw pictures I want to convert, and as I'm picking them out, and applying the changes and starting the process on each one, by the time I get done ... the convert is only a minute or two behind me. WOOHOO! It's like "free time".

I have a tok 12-24 and I didn't get a remote. What does the remote do? Can you change the aperture from across the room??

Back on the subject of presents, I was at my local camera shop tonight and they had one of these babies fired up on the counter, and I have to say, I was impressed. It runs on a CF card - just plug the card and it slide shows the images. Price was in the "right" range too.

Does anybody own a digital frame? Opinions? Concerns??

I got my husband and myself a second honeymoon to Great Keppel Island. I surprised him with it on our wedding anniversary. 4 weeks and 1 day to go.

Great Keppel

I got myself a Rebel XT, Sigma EF500 DG Super flash, 50mm f/1.8 lens, and a ton of other accesories. I think I'm done buying new stuff for a little while... As a side note, anyone got any ideas on what I can get for my girlfriend? I can't come up with anything. PM me with ideas...

I got me a Wii this year..

A Playstation Portable last year.

Cameras and Equipment are for the spring.. so that I can actually use them right away on things I like to shoot :)

A visit from my son from South Africa for 3 months with me in Korea. Airline tickets are basically a 5D..... but with his health deteriating to the extend that it is makes this a no-brainer choice.

Merry Christmas to me!

1.5 times the price of the body, I think I am all set with lenses for a while :-)

Today we booked a cruise to Alaska for next summer, so that'll probably take care of our Christmas budget. And Easter. And Groundhog Day. Birthdays...

Thanks - I'll look through. The resale value in Singapore is zero.

I picked up a UPS battery back-up at Office Depot for the computer on Black Friday for $19.99, regular $65. Haven't started my shopping yet though, I'm sure I'll find a few toys for myself out there.

I do... :) Let me know how much you want for it.

Edit to add: I'm sure shipping would not be cheap from Singapore...
