Hmmmm....in my feeble mind, I really thought this shot would hover in the '6's'....maybe I should move to Iceland!!

All I can say is that gray is a color too. Yeah, yeah, you might argue that gray is the lack of color, others can argue that gray is all colors. But, if I pull out a box of crayons and say to a child "what are the colors?", they'll list white, black and gray along with red, green and blue. Not only that but my webster's dictionary says "between black and white in color... a gray color"
I see lots of whites and grays on white and I suspect that they are all being hurt by those voters who don't consider whites and grays to be colors. |

Well, I was disappointed in my score because I love my picture so much and was hoping it would be one of my highest rated photos, but right now it's at 6.41.
But for some reason, this seems to be a low scoring challenge. I wonder why -- I think so many of the pictures are awesome.
Hmmmmmmm. . . . .curious. . .but still disappointed that I don't have one of those great scores :(

There are some really nice shots and I find I'm voting a little higher for that reason. |

another shot with nearly 2:1 view to vote ratio, which is nice, but the score just doesn't seem to be up there with the level of the comments...
what folks are saying: "wicked", "great", "beautiful", "fantastic"... and that's just in the first comment...  justine said she loved it, though, so what more could i really want? ;)
and yes... i'm complaining about getting a 6. but don't hate me because i'm beautiful... adore me. besides, i need at least a 6.2 to knock another of  IreneM's shots off the Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Di for Nikon page... hehe...
(yeah. long day at work and i've had too much caffeine so i'm in a weird mood... better to just ignore me...)

Has anybody noticed that the daytime voters are much higher than evening for this challenge? Two days in a row I averaged about 6.9 during the day and then dropped to sub 6 in the evening. That stinks!

Comments: 2 - both commenters think its a DNMC so if that reflects the general attituide of the voters then I'm pretty happy to be scoring a 5.2. Even I think it's DNMC and I'm pretty leinent.
I voting quite high for this challenge, there are lots of great shots but some real shockers as well.

I've noticed a definite rise and fall too. I'll get a whole bunch of 3s and 4s, then it goes up when the sensible people log in to vote :^)
