| A thought, when setting up for your shots, your personal safety is always most important as mentioned, but keep an eye on where the dust is blowing and position yourself upwind if possible. Full sun-lit car shots look great as they're whizzing by, but try some shots where the roostertails are backlit from the sun too. Oh, and don't change lenses near the track either. Have fun. |

Definitely a good piece of advice... and when you go to changeg your lens make sure to blow/brush off any dust around the lens mount, before unscrewing it.
Try to change the lens with the bodies front facing downward.

Well, I had a good day yesterday at "Rally GB", the final round of the World Rally Championship.
It was a little wet in the afternoon as you can see from a couple of the pics below! these are a few of my better shots... I'll just post one and link the rest to save the dial up guys!
Got quite dark when the rain came and I ended up shooting some of these at ISO 1600 to be able to keep the shutter speed up high enough to freeze the action! (Cars were 100MPH+ on one point!)

LOL - I have often wondered if any of the privateers or small teams would pay for good images of their cars! Or possibly even some of the sponsors!
