I'm glad you have a 5.6 - I bet it will go up - not that many votes yet. I'm not sure that the minimal contrast of light on white images is appealing to many voters.

So, am I the only one who has never seen a 007 movie? Talk about no inspiration...let's get geared up for same old same old shots of girls, tux's, & martini glasses. Yawn. Booooooooring. Where's a good ol' still life challenge when you need one...now that's exciting!! :)

Much better today. So long as I don't lean back on anything, it's all good :) Thanks for asking!

I shot a couple of diagonals today but they're totally uninspiring, so I might try famous last words instead.

Hope you manage to come up with something Jude :o) I have an idea but executing it is proving harder than first thought!

Well, LoW is still that. I finally creeped up to 5.3.

That said --

FACT -- I have a diagonal shot.

OPINION -- It totally kicks. This shot is going to make the voters pass out from exhiliration. I will get comment after comment after comment along the lines of "OMG, that is the best shot EVER" "I wish I had taken this one" "The creativity in this just moves me" "My life is complete, I can hang up my camera now that I have seen this picture" etc., etc., etc. DrSneezy will wish I was on his team even though I only have a lowly 300D and he will rejoice that he is not against us in this challenge. Scalvert will be at my beck and call. Ursula will fly 'cross country just to be in my presence. I will be sought after as a teacher and mentor by dpc'ers around the world. Langdon will be so impressed by this shot that he will assign all 2006 dpc profits to me to encourage me to produce more fine pieces of art. It will become the signature piece of photography on photography websites world wide.

I have arrived.

FACT -- I'll barely break 5.3.

Seriously, I am very pleased with it.

AND, no I am not inspired at all by James Bond. Well, maybe by *him* by not by the challenge. Maybe we'll get a couple of good open ones.

i entered a lame diagonal since my low is not stellar.
