I thought that was "... thousands who have seen me make an ass of myself." O wait, that's me. |

I'm not an "animal/cage" metaphor - I'm more like "genie/bottle" :) |

30 yrs ago (aaggghh.. ) i worked for a small firm where the boss was an alcoholic. being young & quite stupid, i went with the regular crew for very long lunches .. quaffing several brews during lunch & not being able to function worth a damn after ... the boss was eventually let go
- we figured it was a 'plot' as he was just year short of retirement .. but in fact & in retrospect, he was driving the business into the ground .. & head office did some investigating ...
It was only a year of my life, & a good thing it was that short .. |

You need to work for a beer company. My dad used to work for Miller and they ALWAYS had alcohol at the party and it was all FREE!!!! |

One of my friends worked at the Coors brewery.
They got to take the "dents" home for free. |

My brother used to teach in a remote place in the north of Australia. One year, he made coconut ices (candy-type things covered in dessicated coconut). Except the centres he used were gum erasers. Even his boss found them a bit chewy.
But as for driking alcohol ... no experience here. I might be asked to the staff end-of-year party ... ut it's 8000 yhen too much. |
