So its raining heavily, and I'm on the way to plug my back right tire which has a nice big nail (seperate rant). I'm on a steep ass hill at a red light. I mean steep, like, 30 degrees steep. Enter Clinically-Depressed-Soccer-Mom heading to her psychiatrist to complain about how her husband doesn't care about her and her secret boyfriend is really mature for 19, right behind me and literally an inch from my bumper.
Heard of a manual transmission?
Even using the handbrake and some slow acceleration, my tires begin to slip and I start sliding back. Fortunately the eight tablets of Valium she took to forget about her kids gives her quick reflexes and she backs up a little. I had to put the car into 4-wheel drive to make it.
So the next time you are curious as to what radio station I'm listening too just assume it's the same as yours and don't try to see through my back windshield. |

That's one of those times when you wish you had a James Bond car that spews noxious gas or oil or nails or missiles out the back. I had dreams of having a car like that in my younger, less patient days. :) |
