Seems like a free study of sorts. Judging by the entries from the last ones, anything goes even if it doesn't scream perspective. There are some excellent photos that totally meet the challenge, IMO, but there are just as many high-scorers that do not.

And out of all the possible challenge subjects, why this one again so soon??? It's only been 4 months since we did it :(

Come on man, ideas are scarce. What did you expect, a Pink Floyd challenge or something?

Ok so I am new here and wasn't around when the last one took place. Would anybody mind explaining what I am looking to capture? I am a little confused on this one. I would greatly appreciate it.

What srdanz pointed out is helpful, then there's always the actual challenge description to give some guidance as well.

"Use perspective to create a dramatic effect with your photograph."

You'll have to pull out the dictionary for the word "perspective".

Good luck in whatever you decide to do. :D

'The technique of representing three-dimensional objects and depth relationships on a two-dimensional surface.'
So if I went with this definition I would, broadly speaking, be heading on the right lines?

And what "screams perspective"? Leading Lines? Well, that's one possibility, but we just had a Leading Lines challenge so there must be something more to Perspective, eh? There's no reason it can't be a bit more subtle than drawing lines on your photo so no one can possibly miss it, right? I don't see any in the last challenge that don't meet the challenge.

I think I've read that somewhere else before. :D Yep, I'd say that's heading in the right direction. ;>)

This is one way of looking at it, but when we vote we should consider another thing. Photos of familiar objects photographed in a new perspective would also fit the challenge description. A photo of something photographed in an entirely different way than we usually see it, would qualify for this challenge.
