Part of my portfolio can't be added to my profile.

Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM

I wanted to add my recent BW submission to my profile and it doesn't come up on the pull down menu in my preferences. I moved it to my "challenge entries" folders and went back to my preferences and then realized that entire folder is missing and can't add anything from it. Has anyone else had problems like this before?

Look to see if you accidently moved the folder instead of the image. check other folders

No, everything still seems to be where it was before. And when I tried last nite to add the photo it was just in my portfolio and not in a folder since the challenges had just ended and it was on the list of photos I had available to add. hmmm....

Try this:
- Create a new collection: call it "Test" or something
- Move one or two images from your challenge entries folder into there.
- Look to see if they can be added.
If this works, then:
- Move all the challenge shots to "Test"
- Check that they are still available for adding
- If "yes" to above, then delete the old challenge folder and rename the new one.
Done!

Edit: If the new folder fails at some point during this procedure, then documenting at which point it became impossible to add files from it to you profile page will help to troubleshoot.

Are you talking about the "Selected Photographs from Portfolio" section? I've never been able to add challenge entries there. I've tried kirbic's suggestion in the past however it hasn't worked for me. I've always been under the impression the site just won't let you do it.

Challenge entries aren't listed amongst the selections when you choose 'add images'. This is probably to keep you from adding a challenge entry before voting is over.

Website suggestion (maybe): add challenge entries to the list once voting is over
