How about a challenge where the playing field is completely level – scenery, locations, special places, etc. are all removed from the challenge. The challenge would be to shoot something that everyone has access to and it has to be the artistic presentation of that item that wins the challenge.
I think it would be amazing to see the same thing presented from all of our member̢۪s different perspectives and to find out what stands out and why.

There have actually been quite a lot of challenges that I think level the playing field - A few that come to mind: Headwear, yellow, purple, complimentary colors, footwear, hands, purple, jump, square crop, signs.....

Still more room in "Headwear, yellow, purple, complimentary colors, footwear, hands, purple, jump, square crop, signs....." all of these than I was thinking. I think it would be very interesting to just compare the shooting styles if the subject matter were REALLY confined to a specific item and not a play on words. Examples: egg timer, leaf, old boot, door, etc.

ducky
woody
rope
peas!
lenscap
chrome
these have been fairly recent and are pretty specific about subject. these type of challenges happen fairly often. of course if you want really specific there is always rubber ducky which had over 12% of the entrys DQ'd for not containing the specific things. |
