Not much different from my entry, but it gives me a chance to sorta show how the lighting was done, and to show off some more shots : )

After seeing complimentary colours come up I was feeling very bored with the whole colour thing. Then inspiration struck, and I got on a proper buzz doing these.

My entry was a very close choice between Proximity and this:


I expect they would have scored within 0.0001 of each other, but it didn't make the choice any easier! I also liked the simplicity of this one, but it was maybe too simple for a challenge:


The next shot is as close as I got to a setup shot, but hopefully it gives you a good idea of what I did. There is a halogen desklamp pointing nearly straight down onto the silver card just behind the beakers, and I hadn't added the cordial to turn the blue beaker purple at this point.


Thanks for all the comments (and votes!), this is my highest finish in an open challenge yet : )

I loved your challenge shot Bod. Very nice, and these are good also.
Inventive set up/lighting.
